On behalf of the Carter G. Woodson Community Service Foundation, also known as the CGW Foundation, I’d like to welcome you to our new and improved online home. We’ve taken great care to detail and present a space to you that is indicative of the caliber of men we have within our brotherhood. Over the last 25 years, this small but dynamic foundation has worked hard to maintain its position as stewards of the Madison community -- dedicated to uplifting and improving the lives of those around us.
As a diverse group of professional men consisting of administrators, architects,​ businessmen, educators, judges, lawyers, professors, and others, we strive to remain actively engaged in our community. ​Please take a moment to learn more about our programing initiatives, our local history and see what’s next on our calendar of events.
